With nearly one-third of consumers actively consuming more plant-based foods and identifying as “flexitarian,” there is an incredible opportunity for food service providers to offer more plant-based options … but the question is how?
We are excited to share that PBFA debuted a solution at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago this past weekend. The Power Plant is the first of its kind a grab-n-go concept that offers a turn-key solution to meet the high demand for plant-based foods on college campuses, in retail and food service retail spaces, airports, hospitals, and other destinations across the United States.
Our concept offers a wide variety of delicious, chef-selected plant-based beverages, snacks, meals all set with a branded cooler, freezer, and snack rack supported by marketing, menu concepts, and culinary training from our team of experts.
From burritos and bowls to beverages, yogurts, and ice cream, The Power Plant offers a variety of our members’ delicious plant-based foods that are cooler- and freezer- ready. Our snack rack packs a punch with sweet and savory plant-based snacks, from puffs to jerky, plus quick heat meals.
We have also developed Ready to Enjoy options that pair delicious plant-based, chef-inspired salads, bowls, wraps, and snacks designed to please your customers’ palette.
To inquire about adding The Power Plant to your location, contact PBFA’s Director of Strategic Partnerships Sabina Vyas at sabina@plantbasedfoods.org / (415) 429-6113.
The Army is testing food kiosks. The air force already uses them. This would be perfect for the military in plant friendly locations like California and then could maybe spread from there. Contact me if this concept is something that you would want presented to DoD. Remember, Dod=paperwork, NOT easy, but tons of people.
